Aptaskil is a competence center dedicated to the fields of chemistry, biopharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Formerly known as Cefochim, the center has expanded and evolved to offer more comprehensive training, adopting a new identity to better reflect its mission and scope.
Challenge
Cefochim sought a new identity to reflect its expanded role and the evolution of its training offerings in the rapidly growing sectors of chemistry, biopharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. The new brand needed to communicate the center’s commitment to developing technical, digital skills while attracting a diverse audience of learners.

Creative solution
Naming: The new name, “Aptaskil,” was created to encapsulate the essence of the center’s mission. “Apta” stands for “aptitudes” (abilities) in French, symbolizing the natural abilities of each individual to awaken and develop. “Skil” refers to “skills,” representing the knowledge, know-how, and personal development that can be acquired.
Design: The visual identity reflects the development of skills while recalling the biotechnology sector. The logo, symbolizing cell mitosis, represents growth, knowledge, and innovation, using modern typography and dynamic graphics. The visual identity employs a modern color palette and typography, along with dynamic graphics, enhancing its appeal to learners and industry professionals.
