Challenge
The Belgian Confederation of Construction required a complete rebranding, including a new name and visual identity, to better reflect its modern and inclusive mission while aligning its values with the current and future challenges of the construction sector.
Strategic approach
Analyzing the needs of various stakeholders and the evolving dynamics of the construction industry. The brand strategy was developed with a focus on unity, progress, and career diversity within the sector. A rigorous selection process was implemented to choose a new name, involving workshops and coordination with legal aspects to ensure the new identity was not only unique but also “future-proof.”
Creative solution
Naming: The name “Embuild” was created to symbolize collective construction and progress as a unified entity. The selection process was based on a list of numerous proposals. This list was refined through workshops and qualitative testing to validate the final choice.
Design: The logo evokes a brick, representing both construction and solidity. It also symbolizes the diversity of entities coming together to form a stronger whole. The design incorporates depth to illustrate the multilayered aspects of the construction industry and the various entities within Embuild. A dynamic and rich graphic line was developed to illustrate the energy and ingenuity that characterize Embuild. The overall aesthetic is modern and coherent, aiming to reflect Embuild’s commitment to progress and collaboration, while ensuring a smooth transition from the previous brand identity.
