UITP

creating a connected system to integrate the world

The International Association of Public Transport (UITP, from the French: L’Union Internationale des transports publics) is a nonprofit

advocacy organization for public transport authorities and operators, policy decision-makers, scientific institutes and the public transport supply and service industry. Founded in 1885, UITP supports a holistic approach to urban mobility and advocates for public transport development and sustainable mobility. Today, UITP represents 1,400 member companies giving access to over 16,000 contacts from the fields of urban, local, regional and national mobility from more than 96 countries on all continents.

Starting from the inside, with a strong focus on a new strategic vision, we first conducted a series of workshops with decision-makers to be able to define the course of action needed to modernize an old-fashioned brand. The main framework was defined by the idea of «multiplicity», which embraces all the geographical possibilities of the public transport sector.

In response to these new vision, we created a dynamic and personal identity that represented the world at a new level; showing the different possibilities of connections, multiplicity, and movement. We also took care of developing a strong graphic universe that supported this identity across the different communication supports and a clear and well-structured brand architecture system to guarantee consistency at international level.
